“Live a life of love” was the theme for
this year’s retreat and I really was excited being part of that event. I had so
many expectations, hopes and questions were raised in my mind that was somehow
answered.
I loved the ambience; the freshness of
air, the landscape, the peacefulness… away from civilization – an ideal spot to
internalize and meditate the relationship we have with our Creator.
The evening activity was the most touching
part of the program. I never expected seeing my classmates to burst out and put
their armors down. Everyone became very transparent during that night. Sharing
our life stories, the joys, heartaches and burdens we’ve been through. After
that, we were able to understand one another and became more compassionate to
one’s feeling that would lead us to be more mature spiritually, mentally and
socially.
