I
grew up in a christian family, every night before we go to bed we used to have
our family devotion and ends up with a prayer request. We pray for our family,
relatives, loved ones and friends. Each has to pray audibly and I have seen the
hand of God is clearly at work.
I
enjoyed most of my time in church – especially with the company I had with my
church mates whom I considered my family as well. Basically, I’m not an
outgoing type of person. To be honest, I don’t quite enjoy my life in school or
in any place. It’s just that… I don’t feel very much comfortable with the
people around me – too many conflicts, misunderstandings, distractions and
worldly stuffs. In short, I find joy being alone with God’s presence.
Of
all the places I’ve been through aside from home… the church played an
important role in my heart – so quiet, peaceful and relaxing. The perfect place
to meditate and enhance my spiritual growth in Christ! I have this feeling of
joy, peace in my heart and excitement rushing through my bones that I can’t
really explain. Truly, God is my strength and my salvation, He is my God and I
will praise Him. He deserves to be given glory, honor and praise.
